Mission: America Chung Nam was founded with a clear vision and definitive purpose: to create an innovative company culture based on strong working relationships and unmatched green services.
Although ACN started out as a small player in the recovered paper market, we ...
I worked at America Chung Nam full-time (More than a year)
I really enjoyed working at ACN. The pay was fair, the benefits were good, and the people are great! This is a fast-paced company, and everyone is focused on getting their work done. I really liked going to California every year for the Annual Party. Also, the various social events in the Jersey City office really made us feel like a community. The two managers are great role models and always support us.
After having worked at ACN for a couple of years, I became accustomed to the benefits and started to feel entitled. The chitchat among the staff fosters some negativity about the company that aren't necessarily legitimate. I resigned because I thought I could get a better job with more pay at a better company. After joining another company, I realized that ACN was better than I perceived. At the end of the day, there are positives and negatives anywhere you work, and I chose to focus on the negatives. Now I wish I didn't leave ACN.
Advice to Management
Better communication from headquarters to regional offices.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at America Chung Nam (City of Industry, CA) in September 2016.
Phone interview with recruiter followed by in-house interview with HR and management team. Communication was very clear with expectations and responses were timely. I expected a longer process, but the company got back to me very quickly.
