    Part Time Merchandiser Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Interview

I've had such an unprofessional experience with the person conducting my interview. When I first tried to schedule a phone interview, she missed the deadline and didn't respond to me until 3 days later. This was a red flag already, but I have already put in time to fill out the application, send a resume, and try to schedule an appt.
The day of the interview comes, and she emails me to reschedule because she's double booked.

The day of the rescheduled phone interview FINALLY happens and I get to the next round: video interview. We confirm a date and time for the interview, and when that day comes, I get no call. After waiting 30 minutes, I send her an email and a voicemail, but don't receive a response until 2 hours later with her apology and asking if we can reschedule.

So now is the day of the video interview and 2 hours before it was to be conducted, I get an email from her saying they have already filled the position. Everything in this process was completely unprofessional as it was the interviewer's fault for forgetting our scheduled interview twice, decreasing the chances of other candidates before they can even conduct their interview.
