I have been working at American Roller full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company has done quite a bit in the past three years to reinvest in this plant . Remodeled lockers, break area, and offices, all new lighting inside and out, new factory doors, and added mixing equipment. Additionally the plant has started new lean events and those employees that are participating are creating great ideas to make their jobs easier and more efficient. The morale in the plant is very high as the group is working hard contributing to great ideas and executing plans for improvement. Additionally the Corporate office has worked hard to improve benefits which also include holding costs and employee participation costs in line.

    Cons

Unfortunately that one or two disgruntled employees want to create chaos and bring people down. Unions only further protect those employees who don’t do their jobs and don’t have strong, proud work ethics.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you’re doing. Cream rises to the top and the good employees at this plant want to create a strong lasting legacy.
