Wellness Reimbursement ProgramPaid Time Off Policy
To encourage a healthy lifestyle, employees and their dependents may submit certain expenses for reimbursement under the Wellness Reimbursement Program. These expenses include, but are not limited to, health club membership, smoking cessation, organized weight loss programs, massage therapy and much more. Eligible employees accrue paid time off, or "flextime," per year, which can be used for vacation, sick or personal days (pro-rated based on hire date and for part-time employees). In addition to fixed Company holidays and flextime, American Tower provides floating holidays and flextime for Volunteer Days and School/ Elder Care Visitation.
Parental LeaveEducation Assistance
We recognize how important it is for parents to bond with a new child. Our Parental Leave Policys provides mothers and fathers with paid time off following the birth or adoption of a child.Regularly scheduled full time employees are provided reimbursement per calendar year when taking certain work-related courses including those that are part of a work-related degree program.
Reimbursement PlansMedical, Dental and Vision Coverage
Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars to be used to reimburse themselves for certain eligible medical or dental expenses incurred for themselves or, eligible dependents through a medical care reimbursement account. Employees may also set aside pre-tax dollars in a dependent care reimbursement account to help pay for certain day care or elder care expenses.American Tower offers comprehensive insurance coverage, including Medical, Dental and Vision Plans. American Tower offers three medical plans, covers the majority of the premium cost and begins on your first day of employment.

    I have been working at American Tower full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    American Tower is a great company to work for. I have never worked at a place where you can trust leadership to do the right thing all of the time, this is the case at ATC. I also believe that American Tower takes care of its people and puts people first in all decisions. The culture is really a positive solution based culture. If you have a positive attitude and a solution based mindset you will do well at ATC.

    Cons

    ATC is a little bit old school in some of its policies around flex schedules and working from home. Its benefits are very strong though and half day summer Fridays were introduced over the last few summers which is a great start.

    Advice to Management

    Consider how to introduce more flexibility for those who need and are interested but otherwise keep doing what you are doing!

    I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Tower (Gurgaon, Haryana (India)).

    3 - Managerial Interview
    4 - HR Interview

    I expect this kind of process from any multinational company. There were enough technical questions to gain the comfort and confidence about my abilities. Second - was the telephonic round where US manager interviewed. It was more of a process related interview. Then third round - leadership interviewed.
