|Wellness Program||Paid Time Off Policy|
|To encourage a healthy lifestyle, employees and their dependents may submit certain expenses for reimbursement under the Wellness Program. These expenses include, but are not limited to, health club membership, smoking cessation, organized weight loss programs, massage therapy and much more. The maximum reimbursement is $500 per employee and $300 for their dependents, to a maximum of $800 per calendar year.||Eligible employees accrue three weeks paid time off, or "flextime," per year, which can be used for vacation, sick or personal days (pro-rated based on hire date and for part-time employees). Employees may ”carry over" up to 40 hours of flextime to the following calendar year. In addition to fixed Company holidays and flextime, American Tower provides floating holidays for employees. Additional flextime is provided for Volunteer Days and School/ Elder Care Visitation, up to eight hours each.|
|Charitable Matching Gift Program||Education Assistance|
|As part of the Company's commitment to give back to the community, American Tower will match up to $1,000 per employee per calendar year for donations to charitable, non-profit organizations.||Regularly scheduled full time employees are provided reimbursement of up to $5,250 per calendar year when taking certain work-related courses including those that are part of a work-related degree program.|
|Reimbursement Plans||Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage|
|Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars to be used to reimburse themselves for certain eligible medical or dental expenses incurred for themselves or, eligible dependents through a medical care reimbursement account. Employees may also set aside pre-tax dollars in a dependent care reimbursement account to help pay for certain day care or elder care expenses.||American Tower offers comprehensive insurance coverage, including Medical, Dental and Vision Plans. For medical coverage, American Tower utilizes ClGNA's OAP/Carelink network and covers 80% of the cost. Dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental, with 60% of the cost covered by American Tower. Vision coverage, provided by VSP, is employee paid on a pre-tax basis.|

Cell phones aren't going anywhere
Slow to change but getting better
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at American Tower in May 2017.
The HR person asked for a time slot for a phone screen. When HR person had a conflict at that time I gave a alternate time and they didn't bother to either confirm or give a alternate time for the phone call. I had called the person next day to ask to speak with me and then scheduled a time for a phone screen. Not at all professional.
When the call came the HR person was more interested in getting to know my Salary information than my profile. It felt like they were trying to low ball me with a salary number to make me feel very uneasy.
