  • At our 2019 Annual Dinner, held last week in Rhode Island, we honored employees commemorating their 25-year anniversary and those who have recently retired. It was a great night for the Amica family to celebrate these accomplishments and create lasting memories. Here are some photos from the event.

  • Amica Life took part in Bryant University's Corporate Case Challenge program recently. Three hundred students worked on a real-life business problem, and eight teams presented their marketing strategies and tactics to Amica Life representatives. The challenge produced innovative entries, and the top three teams were awarded monetary prizes. We enjoyed partnering with Bryant University on this challenge and working with their leaders of tomorrow!

    Stressful job answering constant customer calls. Requires excellent work load management and requires overtime to keep up with large work load.

    Hire enough qualified staff to handle the workload with less stress.

    I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Lincoln, RI) in February 2019.


    I was introduced to the company through a career fair at my university. I met with a recruiter who gave me the basic overview of the company and then asked me a few basic questions about myself. After about 10 minutes of talking I was offered a next day interview. I did a lot of research about the company that night and was ready to show my interest in the job. My interviewer appreciated the interest and moved me on to the next round. At this point I was sent an email with instructions that take you to an online test. I submitted that and about a week later was offered a final interview at headquarters. There I met with 3 VPs who just are seeking to confirm what has been passed on to them by the previous interviews. Overall, it was a smooth process.
