I worked at Amphenol RF (Less than a year)
Good company to work for with a very comfortable environment to grow. Both individual and group work required and expected. This gave a wealth of knowledge.
Sometimes the leadership doesn't give enough direction, and interns are left to find work to do. Although not always the case, it would be better with more of a strict schedule.
Advice to Management
Create a program centered around intern retention. THis is not the focus now and it is clear that most interns would not return in the future for full time employment.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Amphenol RF.
Interview started off in a personal manor. Mostly HR and behavioral questions regarding past and current experience on campus and in classes. The questions then shifted towards the mechanical design aspect of the job, and encouraged thoughtful discussion on design experience and ability. I was asked to provide design examples with pictures and drawings and talk about my work.
