I worked at Amway full-time (More than 10 years)
Excellent benefits, bonus program, competitive salaries, casual dress code, international exposure, employee training opportunities, ability to move around to different areas
Culture is slow to change, very niche industry, not good at leveraging technology, concerns about future of company once founder passes away, sustainability of direct selling model
Advice to Management
Work to cut back on the consensus culture, attract younger workforce, use technology to benefit the business - don't let IT run the business - be willing to reward fast action but also tolerate failure and learn from it
I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Amway (Ada, MI) in December 2016.
Met head of department at a career fair. Got an email regarding a phone interview about a month later. Had 2 phone interviews total and then went for an onsite visit. Did a small presentation on myself, and then had two group interviews with other employees in the department. Fairly laid back and friendly environment. Job offer contingent on background check and hair drug test 90 days prior to start date.
