I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ancient Nutrition (United States)

I think it took about a week to be contacted about an interview after applying. I sent times that I was available, and the interview was scheduled. It was a phone screening that lasted around 30 minutes, I believe. Most of the questions were typical interview questions, but they also seem to want to know more about you as a person to see if you'll fit their culture. They asked about salary, and their salary ranges seem very low. I suspect this is why I didn't get an offer (I wanted at least $10K more), because the interview seemed to go really well and I am great at doing interviews. I think I might also have said something about enjoying working by myself, and that might have made a difference, too.

I was told I'd hear something in a week or less, but it took 3 or 4 weeks. Because I'd started interviewing with better/higher-paying companies, I wasn't worried about it. I was also told the owners are Christians and that they talk about it, just so I'd know if I moved on in the interview process. I thought it was kind of inappropriate behavior to mix with work, especially from the leadership, but didn't say anything.

I mean, just a very weird place that seemingly doesn't want to pay what it takes to get better results and that probably focuses on the wrong things in hiring/once you work there, like culture/personality and being religious. I had already received two offers paying $30K+ more than Ancient Nutrition's salary range and had accepted one of them by the time they sent me a rejection, so it is what it is--just so you know how it is and that it might not be worth your time.
