"Amazing group to work with"

Nov 12, 2022 - Research Intern

Pros

One or the best work environments where you were truly making a difference in patients lives.

Cons

Parking is costly and traffic can be bad. Plan to get to work early to not be late, and if you live in the suburbs think about the added cost of parking and gas when negotiating your salary.

Advice to Management

They were amazing!

How is diversity at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago?

...Lurie's seems to put on a big show when it comes to diversity and inclusion, and they are pretty good when it comes to respecting the patients/families, yet the number of POC I've seen, especially BIPOC, is very very minimal....Read More

I interviewed for an Improvement consultant position. I was very unimpressed with the entire process which took around 3 months. For the final interview, they wanted me to interview with 15+ consultants, and also share a quality improvement presentation. I put a lot of time and effort into the interview process. However, it has been 2.5 months, and I have yet to hear back from the hiring manager. I tried reaching out to the hiring manager on 3 separate occasions to inquire about an update, but she failed to respond. It is perfectly fine if I was not selected, but it’s basic courtesy to send an email to inform me that I was not selected.
