Nothing I can think of..
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ansell in September 2014.
Process for Interviews: I was recruited via executive search firm. I went through 2 rounds of phone screen interviews with HR and the Hiring Manager (VP). A 3rd phone interview with 3 VPs located overseas. A final ON-SITE interview with 1 VP and 2 Directors. And then radio science - no more communications. All the interviews were successful from a professional, technical and personal stand point. After the last interview, I had to contact them 7 days later to get a simple - "we are looking at another candidate." The entire process took over 5 weeks. Every interview was scheduled last minute and additional people were added the day of the interview. All of this was difficult as a 1 hour interview became 2+ hours. Or a 12pm to 2pm interview became 11:30am to 3pm. Even with the additions / changes, I found all the people to be very amenable. My concern was their lack of planning for interviews was very disrespectful to candidates. Their miscommunications showed that they don't care about perception to the outside world. Although it looks like a good opportunity, I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg with dis-organization.
