I have been working at Anytime Tan Tanning Club part-time (More than a year)
If you like a sales environment this is a great job. The job itself is not hard, but it will give you more experience than your generic tanning salon. The owners are great and want to see you succeed. The commission structure, for a tanning salon, is pretty amazing. You will find yourself making much more than minimum wage, plus other perks.
Some employees simply don't care, which make them hard to work with. Turn over is high so you might be asked to work more than you are supposed to. If you have tanning salon experience you will find yourself doing more there. Which seems to turn off a lot of new employees who don't want to work for commission.
Advice to Management
There needs to be some standard way of training. Management trains their employees however they want and then they are sent to a training class and expected to succeed. Set new employees up for better success with a training manual.
