Mission: Realizing Energy Efficiency Through Education
Check out a recap of our PEAK Retreat in Napa, CA.
“There’s gotta be a better way.”
You could say Apex Energy Solutions was founded on that statement. You see, back when he was an aspiring actor and part-time bartender, Michael Foit took a “temporary” job in replacement window sales. Then a funny thing happened: He realized he had found his calling.
There was just one problem: Michael hated his new industry’s sales practices, quality standards and customer service. He vowed to find a better way.
Fifteen years later, that better way – now known as Apex Energy Solutions – has expanded to 14 states by matching cutting-edge technology with time-honored craftsmanship and abandoning traditional sales approaches in order to go directly to consumers to educate them so they make good decisions about their homes.
Now, that’s a better way.
Forget your old “salesman” image of a worn-down guy lugging around heavy cases. Forget the cut-throat, dog-eat-dog “Closers vs. Canvassers” culture. Forget the Dark Ages of sales. Think instead of a group of sales partners in a fun, high-energy culture where technology puts you ahead of the competition.
Apex Energy Solutions can’t say it’s embracing A Better Way if it hangs on to the Old Ways of doing business. So, we’re shaking things up. We’re acting like revolutionaries. We’re going to train you like a champion, show you the ropes and give you the support you need to win.
But we’re not for everyone. We’re for the achievers. We’re for the people who can’t dampen their entrepreneurial drive. The ones who like to work with a team for something bigger than they can gain alone.
Don't take our word for it. Here's what some of our top performers had to say about the Apex Opportunity!
Trevor Shell, Senior Sales Partner - Indianapolis, IN
Parker Knox, Senior Sales Partner - Kansas City, MO
Laura Prout, Junior Sales Partner - Indianapolis, IN
William Wallace Powars, Senior Sales Partner - Houston, TX
At Apex Energy Solutions, we put some pretty high expectations on our sales team members. And we back up those high expectations with Agoge, our training that makes big things possible. Named for the demanding program used to train Spartan warriors, Agoge promotes a “Culture of One,” where all stand shoulder-to-shoulder, aligned for the same cause.
You’ll work hard, play hard and celebrate your progress. You’ll receive guidance from veterans and support from your fellow trainees. We’ll push you, challenge you and celebrate with you when you succeed. Our goal is to create sales professionals who work for a common goal as well as individual success. Our reward is watching people grow and succeed … and have a blast doing it.
At Apex, we have seven (7) Core Values that were selected and voted on by our team.
We had some sales partners discuss their favorite core values and why.
Jonathan Jeffries - Innovation
Lyndsay Hemmick - Passion
Trevor Shell - Persistence
I have been working at Apex Energy Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)
The best reason to work at Apex is the opportunity. Especially if you don't really have experience in sales. Apex will give you a chance. Aside from that the promotion is very quick. I was promoted 6 months after starting. Last year I made 150k. Before Apex I made 15K and had no sales experience. There is just not a better opportunity in the marketplace than what Apex offers in its Junior Partner position. All of my friends who have worked in sales for years, make less money than me and some are jealous. The opportunity is why Apex is awesome and I have met some of the best people here.
It is very mentally and emotionally taxing to learn sales.
Cold calling a potential client is not for the weak of heart.
Most people cant really self manage and if thats you don't work at Apex.
Advice to Management
Apex Charlotte has the best management I have ever worked under. Thats my favorite part of working there.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Apex Energy Solutions (Denver, CO) in September 2016.
Pretty simple. The job is basically door to door appointment setting. Most people are going to approach that with some degree of skepticism. So you're checking them out as much as they're checking you out.
