Most of the employees have no passion or desire to work in hospitality, or have anything to do with guest services.
Head of the Departments are constantly leaving and changing.
No Communication between key departments.
No teamwork and no consistency due to the lack of training, appraisal, rewards.
No desire of management to recognise the hard-working, passionate employees. On the contrary, management keeps defending and protecting the lazy people.
Advice to Management
Put in place some SOPs, offer proper training to employees, look after the employees who are doing a good job. Most of the guests are recognising the good guest service, however, managements fails to do so. Management needs to be more opening minded to new ideas and suggestions instead of believing they are the only one who know everything.
