Apex and the American Cancer Society

Since 2009, Apex has focused the majority of our charitable resources and volunteer efforts for the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life. The ACS was chosen in honor of the many members of the Apex family of employees, contractors and clients who have been affected by cancer. As a National Corporate Team partner, we are proud to note we have raised over $950,000 for the ACS since we adopted the organization as our corporate philanthropy in 2010.

Apex's Quarter of Caring

Apex designated the fourth quarter as our Annual Quarter of Caring as a way to expand our philanthropic footprint and support more local organizations. Each of our over 70 branches coordinates one or more events to support the communities where they live and work. In addition, we have an annual Fall Philanthropy Drive to collect warm clothing items and other items for nonprofits.

    Pros

    Assignment are a great fit because they actually read your resume and listen. Once you are on assignment your recruiter is in touch and they have a dedicated national contractor care team to make sure everything goes well on assignment

    Cons

    could use a modernization of their time reporting system. Yup that's it. And I really had to think to come up with that one.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work. The Dallas (Irving), TX office ROCKS!

    Went over your resume, discussed your background and how it fit well into what they were seeking. Straight forward and swift in response. Recruiter and then onsite account manager were very good at providing background.
