I have been working at AppDynamics full-time (Less than a year)
The company is growing fast. Lots of opportunities for new hires. Atmosphere in engineering is very good, work hard play hard kind of attitude but with a good work/life balance.
Product is big, infrastructure is big, makes it harder to innovate. Management is aware of that and trying to do what it takes, but progress could be faster.
Advice to Management
Make sure the company doesn't burry itself under the weight of its product. Maintain agility. Innovate more.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AppDynamics (San Francisco, CA) in November 2015.
I applied through my college's career fair. After which, I was asked which teams I would be interested in pursuing. I had a 45 minute phone screen with each team I was interested in. After a week or so, I was told that both teams were interested, so I went on site for 3 interviews per team (one of which was the team's director). I was told I had an offer within a couple days of interviewing on site. My overall experience was fantastic. My recruiter was both extremely friendly and highly available by phone. The process was one of the best I've gone through.
