I don't know if there is a company out there that can be everything to everyone. That being said, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. So much so that there is nothing that I would like to call out

Advice to Management

Continue to provide development and leadership opportunities for existing employees. The talent pool at AppFolio is exceptional. Don't lose site of that.

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AppFolio (United States) in Apr 2020

    Interview

    The interview process was rigorous but when you make it through and meet your peers - you understand why! I couldn't ask for a better team to work with! My interview process consisted of three interviews all of which happened fairly quickly after the other. I first interviewed with HR which felt less formal and I had the opportunity to ask some hard questions given the COVID-19 circumstances that they did not shy away from answering (thank you!). The next interview was with my current Key Account Manager. This was more formal with scripted questions reviewing my job history. Lastly, I had a 2-hour interview with a variety of co-workers (upper management and peer). Each asked different questions (a lot of the questions made you think so taking a moment will happen!). This was the toughest interview of the three but not in the way they intentionally try to stump you. They are more in-depth to gauge your knowledge and understanding. (Note, these interviews were either conducted via phone or zoom due to current circumstances.)
