Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Where would you move (within the US) if you could move anywhere? And why there? Currently in NY, lease is up soon, working remotely forever. Never lived anywhere else in the US. I love nature, animals..snorkeling, horseback riding, working out gives me life.

Pros- Fast paced culture - Friendly teams and team mates - Focus on technical excellence - Lots of technologies to learn - Great onboarding experience - Steep learning curve - No "unnecessary"
Cons- Work is mix of gaming + mobile advertisement. Could be great for some, could be ok for others. - People are generally working/responding pretty late even on weekends. Not a con for me but some
Advice to ManagementI feel at the end of time (if and when) I leave the company, I would be happy to say 2 things 1. The unique things I learnt here and new ways I developed at Applovin did set me up for more awesome
