I worked at Appert's Foodservice full-time (More than 5 years)
This company was a family owned company and it focused on treating everyone the same. Customers, Employees, and stake holders. Nice open door policy.
The training was subpar and the expectations to make any money were unrealistic. They needed to change the pay structure to retain employees and have manageable goals.
Advice to Management
Change the pay structure to make sure each sales person can see an difficult, yet achievable goal. Focus on helping the salesperson grow their business by giving them more tools. i.e. a CRM
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Appert's Foodservice (Saint Cloud, MN) in March 2008.
Multiple interviews with different department heads. The same mindless questions with the same canned answers. I was impressed with the Manger that hired me .....he liked my moxi!
it was like they told me what I was going to get for conmpensation and if i wasnt pulling my own weight within siz monthes...............................?
