I have been working at Applied Composites Engineering full-time

    Pros

great hours, well accommodated pay (for those who actually come to ace to work) great people and projects

    Cons

The high school demeanour the people bring to the work place.

    Advice to Management

Fire these idiots in the laminating department that are stirring up controversy and have lack of knowledge of certain situations that occur amongest other employees here. For those who posted petty comments and are current employees that are unhappy, just leave! If your not happy dont drag everyone else down with your negativety. Don't cry about not getting a raise after only being here a year while showing up late or calling in once a week. Don't cry because you didnt get a promotion after your 90 days... work for it! There are people in this company who have worked together for years, who are friends inside and outside of work. This is a team envirnoment! Ace is one the easiest layed back places to work for. I've worked at some pretty horrible places and none of them compare to Ace. If you have a problem be an adult and confront that person.. dont run to glassdoor to vent about it.

    Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Applied Composites Engineering (Indianapolis, IN) in July 2017.

    Interview

Basic interview, HR mgr, then production mgr. Pre interview test for mechanical aptitude, english language skills, and simple reasoning. Descriptions of the position and expectations were not clear. My skills and experience did not feel like a good fit.
