I have been working at Arbella Insurance full-time (More than 3 years)
This company has compassion for its own and those outside its walls. I have a persona story of hardship where this company really stepped forward to make sure I was taken care of.
The work environment also is competitive however fair. Some of the ways things are done could be considered antiquated and there are complaints from within but I also listen to what I hear on the outside of the walls from the agents and customers and they love this company.
We make a choice. If the culture isn't for you or you don't like the work, move along. We all have the ability to do so. Jobs are plentiful in this industry.
Management listens as well. They take time to ask for our input. When they come to us, it's with open ears and they listen. This is a company where I truly feel that I have direction and control of my success or failure.
This company is a little dated and does need to step into the modern era but for the most part what they do is working.
Advice to Management
Don't be afraid to dive more into the client services arena. We are a middle market carrier but there are others out there and we need to be a step above to continue being the best.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Arbella Insurance.
The interview/hiring process was relatively quick and easy. They asked all the general interview questions. A few technical questions based on coding. The whole process was about 3 weeks. Included a phone interview as well as a group interview.
