I have been working at Arctic Cat full-time (More than 5 years)

Relaxed work atmosphere. Run like a old family. run like an old family business. New ceo training to bring company into 21st century.

Low wages, High cost for health insurance and low company match for 401 K. Only 2 weeks vacation. Terrible relocation packages. Arctic Cat Managers Don't care about employee retention. Minority and women are underpaid

    Advice to Management

To attract and retain good talent increase pay and vacation. At least industry average.

    Human Resources Manager Interview

    Easy Interview

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Arctic Cat (Minneapolis, MN) in December 2015.

Through a staffing agency - was a speed interview with the Vice President of Human Resources. The agency had presented me as a potential candidate for the role. I was placed in a holding room while others interviewed first, and there were more applicants coming into behind me. VP of HR and I chatted for 30 minutes, reviewing my background, the company's history and the job requirements.

    Interview Questions

    • Very conversational but through the process it became clear that this was not a forward thinking, innovative, progressive company. Very old school HR mentality that will be hard to keep up with their competition in the market.   Answer Question
