I have been working at Arecont Vision full-time
Arecont Vision has been a great place to work. With any growing company, there have been moments of stress. But through strong leadership and a clear mission, Arecont has been an great place to work. The challenges are daily and varied and leave me satisfied. I have grown a lot working here and see a lot of potential for more in the future. Team atmosphere is a plus. Arecont is an equal opportunity employer which can be seen by many of their employees from all types of nationalities
It does not seem that here is much room for career growth with Arecont. You are expected to work long work days as busy company work is to be done outside of 'business hours.' The tech support needs some attention in customer service.
Advice to Management
Listen to your employees. Invest in back of house side in the business, just as it was done in the sales side of the house.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Arecont Vision.
Phone interview with online white board. Asked to recreate the TCP state diagram, recall the single 8086 ask instruction to atomically test and set/clear a bit, a derivation of a summation of a series and print out a binary tree. This firm has had some tough experiences in hiring in the past and are pretty stringent about the interviewing process (and rightly so), but the interview did seem to be over-the-top and in my opinion.
Since we created the industry's 1st multi-sensor IP megapixel panoramic cameras in 2006, Arecont Vision has continued to lead the market with new technology, capabilities, and unmatched models.
