I worked at Aria Systems full-time (Less than a year)
Friendly colleagues, very supporting lower management, very supporting and nice HR and a decent salary
Working hours were so late it doesn't allow social life, very unprofessional office-boys had to fight with them couple of times, company owner uses security cameras to check on employees if they're working or not, had couple of sanitation problems that took weeks to fix
Advice to Management
Work on the cons you're already offering a decent compensation package it takes a few a very minimal tweaks to make it perfect.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aria Systems (San Francisco, CA) in December 2011.
I applied online and was contacted immediately by the hiring manager who asked for me to come in--no phone interview. The hiring manager wrote that my background was "perfect" for the job. I came in and felt the interview went well; I met only with the hiring manager. I followed up the same day with a thank-you email and more information on my qualifications. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. I pinged the hiring manager and got no response. More time passed, no response, ever. A friend of mine had the exact same experience at Aria Systems, except for a different position. It is so very unprofessional to be called into the office, in person, and never receive a follow-up. If that is how a company treats prospective employees who they are presumably courting, I can only imagine how the treat the people who are hired. I am glad I dodged that bullet.
