Fight for the Greater Good
At Armor, we don’t take the title of “hero” lightly. We understand that our customers look to us for guidance through the increasingly treacherous threat landscape, often entrusting us with their vital assets: their data. Being a “hero” means that you are driven by a cause greater than yourself, driven to fight for what is right and just for the benefit of others. To answer this call, Armor Heroes must be morally right, virtuous servants. A vigorously trained, committed group devoted to protection and defense. Their unrelenting desire to destroy attackers and eliminate threats is innate. Their ultimate reward is the fulfillment in knowing that people have been protected.
We are a security company. It’s our top priority. It is why we exist. We never compromise in our effort to defend sensitive data and provide customers with the industry’s most secure environments. We volunteer our best every day and go to any length to ensure our customers are protected to the fullest extent possible. We do not believe in taking shortcuts to deliver services or protect our customers. Simply put, we want customers to rave about their experience with us.
When it comes to the security we provide our customers, good-enough service is simply not good enough. Armor believes in going beyond the expectations of our customers and providing them with a level of service that leaves them with a raving impression of our company and employees. We apply this same pursuit to our Heroes. We want our Heroes to rave about working at Armor. Their enthusiasm and passion will produce a higher quality of service that translates to a better customer experience. We understand the importance of this connection. Ultimately, our goal is to make every customer a Raving Fan.
When frequent and unexpected change becomes the only constant, Armor Heroes must be able to adapt quickly while remaining focused on delivering exceptional results for our customers. In the modern IT landscape, we don’t have the luxury of becoming set in our ways, especially when the threat landscape continues to evolve at a blistering pace. Being complacent not only puts our customers at risk but also the legacy we have built as champions for data security in the face of increasingly sophisticated threats. We are ardent believers in embracing change and leveraging it for the betterment of those we serve.
Bad News First
Armor understands that while career is a life priority, family and faith are equally important. Acknowledging that happy employees typically exhibit a higher level of performance at work, Armor works to build a culture of balance, inclusion and commitment. We firmly believe that everyone must prioritize the items in life that matter most to them and ask only that our Heroes make Armor one of their top priorities.
Check Your Ego
We recognize that every employee brings experience and a unique skill set to the company. We value our diversity. No one individual is more important than another and that every contribution has significance in its own way. This is why our heroes check their ego at the door each day. This cultural mindset helps ensure that we work together effectively, as a team, to deliver the best security and service to our customers.

You will find it very hard to find more experienced leaders. The coronel and gunny rock! Sr. Leadership is so involved in their employees well being that they made me take time off to take care of a family health issue when i felt i should not take the time off for which is am eternally grateful. The fact that Drake the founder and CEO provides updates and replies here on Glassdoor is a testament a his involvement and care for his employees and company culture. Keep it up Drake.

Advice to Management
Keep up the great work, recognize your heroes. Eat up the competition!
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Armor (Dallas, TX) in May 2016.
The process was only about a week - I applied online, got a call from the CMO for an impromptu phone interview and then was asked to come in to interview for 2 hours with several marketing team members. It seemed to be going OK, where I felt a really positive connection with some of the interviewers and not as great with others, but it was abruptly cut short. The CMO was supposed to be the last interview of the day, and it turns out she wasn't even there in person (she lives in Houston and works from there half the time and in the Dallas office the other half) and they couldn't get her called in, so they pulled someone random in to sit with me while they tracked her down. Next thing they said was she couldn't make it and maybe she would reschedule, and I was on my way. The communication from that point was disappointing - HR never followed up on their own, nor responded to my 2 follow-up emails asking about rescheduling, any other info I could provide, and feedback on how my interview went. I just NEVER heard from them again. The whole thing felt like an extremely unprofessional way to handle a candidate who took 2+ hours out of their day to come in.
