I have been working at Armstrong Ambulance Service full-time (More than a year)
Coworkers are mostly all great people with respect for the job and respect for their coworkers. LGBT friendly for the most part, and there's some effort to share the workload.
Management has been rumored to have called its EMTs/medics "the help." Dispatch is poorly organized and they have no call taker so the dispatchers aren't attentive.
Advice to Management
Treat us with respect. We don't need a raise if we know you're out for our best interest and the patients best interest. Right now it seems like you're out for your wallet's best interest.
I applied online. I interviewed at Armstrong Ambulance Service.
Contacted within a week of applying online. Filled out a mountain of paperwork before interview. All went well. She was very friendly and welcoming. Whole process took about 20 minutes. Was at their main base in Arlington.
