I have been working at Army and Air Force Exchange part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The job can be rewarding, and it's easy to get promoted. Only part time and full time employees receive medical , dental, vacation, sick leave.

    Cons

Micro managers. Some managers like to stay close by and tend to make sure you know what u are doing. Which can be annoying. Some managers are very lazy, and layed back. Which also can be irritating because when serious things happen , nothing really gets resovled.

    Advice to Management

Work better with employees needs and concerns. Show more care , and try not to over work your best people. Also let go of employees who show no desire to work as hard as others.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Army and Air Force Exchange (Tampa, FL) in June 2017.

    Interview

Slap dash, no show, the first two times, no call until an hour later. (Only had their landline, email) And they didnt call to say they were dragging. HR Office claiming they tried, NO they did not. I own a business..phone/text is critical.
