    Pros

Leadership has a clear plan that is communicated at every level of the science team. There are great things happening with our ever evolving research, new experiences and techniques to learn, and you're always surrounded by individuals who are willing to help.

    Cons

Projects can get very hectic at times but I haven't found this to be unique to Array, and the way that everyone handles it here seems professional and helpful

    Advice to Management

    Lab Tech II Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Array BioPharma (Boulder, CO).

    Interview

The first contact was a 30 minute phone interview where I provided further details about my resume and experience. The next step was an all day interview starting at 9 am with a powerpoint presentation followed by a series of 30 minute interviews including a lunch and dinner. I thought that the interview process was way too extensive for a Lab Tech position.

    Interview Questions

    • The experience questions were pretty straightforward. This is a very intelligent group of people, so be sure you know your stuff! I think as long as you are knowledgeable about your research, the most difficult questions will be the typical HR "tell me about a time when you didn't get along with..." questions.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Not much room for negotiations. You really have to be prepared to press them!
