Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) create a sense of belonging and cultivate relationships between people of similar backgrounds and experiences. Articulate leaders engage with ERGs to hear their feedback, and ERG members are encouraged to build community throughout their work. Every employee who joins Articulate takes a course called, I’m Not a Racist, Am I?  It’s a deeply engaging learning experience that tackles the legacy of racism in America and includes deep discussions on how we collectively build a diverse culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging at Articulate.

We also regularly hold virtual brown-bags, have virtual guest speakers, and offer educational e-learning courses on celebrations and histories of various cultures.

    You have to be able to navigate a remote work environment -- it may not be easy for some people to not have the face-to-face interaction as you're onboarding.

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Articulate Inc..


    Was contacted by an internal HR employee. Worked with them throughout the process to setup interviews with other employees. They spend like 45 mins in the initial phone screening talking about how "people-centric" they are and promise a quick and pleasant interview experience, no matter the outcome. Was not my experience. Took 2 weeks for 2 interviews, one phone screening with HR and a technical interview with the Director of Engineering. I contacted the HR rep after each step as I was instructed, and after the 2nd interview I didn't hear anything back for a whole week. And the response was a super cold/generic rejection letter, no feedback on why- which I think was merited since I made it more than halfway through their interview process. I emailed HR to ask for some feedback and never heard back.

    My takeaway: they are not as people-centric as they claim. They romanticize themselves as an ideallic company that is like no other, but it is all talk. The interview process will not be short as they promise. HR will call you constantly during your workday at your current job and will be offended when you are not available.
