Once you start working as an Artisan Talent, you can become eligible for the same benefits our employees receive. Why do we do this? Because we believe in inspiring better lives.
Benefits available include:
We understand the very real need for medical benefits, especially among freelance professionals who struggle getting insurance coverage through other means. We believe that freelance professionals like yourself offer an unparalleled service to the companies that hire you—and we want you to receive the same value from your work that you bring to it. Does the notion of having access to health, dental, vision, 401k and even paid time off sound too good to be true? Just ask your Talent Rep what you need to do to qualify for these benefits.
At Artisan, we pride ourselves on being a valuable asset to the communities we serve – not just to our clients and talent, but to all of those who can use our help. That is why since 1988, we’ve contributed more than $250,000 to various charitable causes.
The Match That Gives Back
For our “Match that Gives Back” competition, we let our sharpest talent challenge each other to create great work for great causes. Art director and graphic designer David Weik was selected as the winner, along with the nonprofit "Snow City Arts," to receive a $25,000 design project.
Other organizations we’ve supportedover the years include:
We were introduced to some of these charities through our own talent, clients, and friends. Please get in touch if you know of a community cause that could use a hand - we’d love to work together to make things brighter for all of us.
I have been working at Artisan Talent full-time (More than a year)
Great coworkers! Company truly cares about its candidates, clients and employees; team has a lot of fun and has great team outings and events; not commission based for recruiters, so more pressure on getting to know talent vs treating them like numbers
Not commission based, so lower max earnings (yes, I know it's a pro too); a bit old fashioned with some systems and paper dependent still; smaller company so fewer set growth opportunities but opportunity to make your own path if you want to
Advice to Management
Keep moving forward with new technology and easier systems for talent and clients
Keep focusing on hiring people who want to build relationships with talents and clients vs just fill a job and get a commission check
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Artisan Talent (New York, NY) in December 2015.
Very nice group of people. The interview was relaxed while still asking all the necessary questions. They're very upfront about the kind of people they're looking to place and ask what kinds of opportunities you're looking for as well. Looks like it'll be a good partnership.
