    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Arvind (Bengaluru (India)) in December 2015.

    Interview

Technical round was good. I think they have modeled it after Amazon. But when I was trying to pursue other offers things changed. Straight there was a round setup with CEO, he will everything and anything to convert you. You will see the true color only when you join. Dont trust him I didnt have anyone to give this advice.

Sick leave: Like the HR mentioned they never took it out they are smarter than that. In the HRMS portal where you apply for the leave, the sick leave option was not there. The leaves existed on paper but you really can’t apply them. As per the CEP this was done to against people who were abusing the system with too many sick leaves.

Insurance: There was a period where AIL moved from under ALBL to Arvind HO at Gujarat. During this period there was no dependent insurance available. I personally know few people who had to pay out of pocket whose loved ones had unfortunate incident during this time. This issue was resolved later and now we have insurance.

Food & Snacks: Don’t join here if this is a priority for you. Yes there are a lot of good places in MG Road but you will never have enough time to go out. The food they server internally is crap.

Work: It depends on what team you join. There is only one team left who is building the enterprise pieces. All other teams just to Devops / support. Be very careful on what team you are getting into.
