Good Pay, Decent benefits, recognition of time worked, agreed to salary reviews and I was given a raise every time I asked for it in the 3.5 years I was with Ascendum. Ascendum honestly tries to treat employees as individuals. I was lucky, I had a position as a contractor, with a great paying company, working as a supplement to their IT staff at a local office. I also had a Ascendum supervisor that responded to any need or question that I had quickly.
No 2 ways about it... lousy 401K program. Other than that no complaints.
Advice to Management
If you really want to attract quality long-term personnel, improve your 401K plan
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Ascendum Solutions in April 2014.
I was contacted by the HR for contract based QA opening in USA. The HR was so nice and she scheduled for the interview . The interviewer called 30 mins early the schedule. So , make yourself available ahead of the schedule. The interviewer was the very worst person , out of all the interviewer I ever spoke. She was more curious in knowing more about my career break and the reason behind it. She said she had only very less time , and had continous meeting then . Why the hell she accepted to take the interview that day. She was less diplomatic , more nosy , and tried to assume the details and never allowed me to elaborate on the details I was trying to explain. She interrupted me abruptly everytime I tried to explain something. Overall , it's so bitter experience and that interviewer is not fit for that lead role. Even if I've selected I would 've rejected the offer. POOR TEAM !
