I have been working at Ascension Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoy the benefit of working for one of the largest health care organizations. My salary is fair and I have flexibility in my work schedule. There are aspects of my job that are quite rewarding despite the mundane aspects. The company has potential to be a great employer

    Cons

I don't always feel my skills and contributions are appreciated at a higher level. I believe the company could make better use of my subspecialty skills. The quality of my benefits seems to be continuously deteriorating, though I do not believe this is unique to Ascension. There has been continuous changes in our benefit carriers, though we have been in a period of transition in our region.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to communicate and learn about your employees, and utilize their special skillsets. Please try to keep the benefit carriers unchanged

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ascension Health (Carmel, IN) in June 2017.

    Interview

I asked the two people there about pay and they refused to give me a range or a number. They said it depended on my qualifications. I asked if they had seen my resume or had a copy of my resume and they said that they did. I asked again and they said that they would determine pay after our conversation..

    Interview Questions

    • We didn't get to them asking me many questions, the information I provided above describes the questions that I asked them.   1 Answer
