I worked at Ascensus full-time
My coworkers were mostly pretty awesome. It was nice to have people to talk to and hang out with everyday. They also gave a lot of pto and sometimes days were added throughout the year. Also a good place to start out esp. If you plan on staying in the industry. Also Bob G. He's great! One of the most personable president/CEOs I've encountered!
It's hard to have a career. Mostly it's job after job trying to find a way up the ladder. If you do well at your job they'd rather have you stay in that role and train everyone than move up. I was losing confidence in myself and feeling that I was not valued. Luckily I moved to another company in the industry that values me and challenges me most everyday and I am so thankful.
Advice to Management
Value your employees especially the ones that have been there a few years and really know their stuff. When employees tell you they want to leave help them to find a role or a path that will best suit them. When I left days and months later some of my other former coworkers followed suit for similar reasons. Ascensus is a great company... Make people feel great working there.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Ascensus (Dresher, PA) in August 2015.
Screened via the phone with HR representative internal to the company, brought in for interview with the team on-site. Met with several members of the team and asked questions about skills and interests as well was given a very extensive overview of the position and the responsibilities you would be asked to perform.
