Working for 2 weeks at the Palais in Cannes

Some extra long work weeks leading up to the festival
Actual office location is in a slightly touristy area (barely a con at all to be honest)

    Difficult Interview

The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Ascential.

    Interview

First I did a phone interview with the initial person who contacted me. The second interview was with the manager in the office. It went well so I had a good feeling about it. Then I needed to have a phone it with 2 people located in London. That went well also so I assumed that would be it. Then they called and wanted me to come back into the office the next day to meet with the HR person. Once I got there I waited for 30 minutes before the manager brought me back to sidetrack me from the fact the HR women still was not ready to interview me. I thought the whole thing was a set up or a joke! The manager seemed to have changed her mind because she gave different information then the first interview I had with her. She also asked me questions like she had no idea of the interview we had just the week before. Once the HR lady came in she told me she would have walked out if someone made her wait that long. Then she proceeds to ask me why I want the job and why I want to work for that company etc. it was like the interview process had started over or they just wanted to chase me off. Then at the end she said she needed 2 references from me and once they pick 2-3 candidates then we would need to come back for a working interview. This was the 4th and final interview for me. Complete waste of my time.
