I worked at Ashland Partners full-time (More than 5 years)
The firm allows people to grow and progress as fast as that person is driven. They have office in various locations in the US and open to relocation. If you are driven and want to be a leader you have the ability and freedom to step up and show leadership qualities. The firm provides ongoing training over the skill set for the work as well as the finance industry. As the firm is still growing management recognizes those who want to be leaders and rewards those people by jump promotions.
Some of the office culture can be difficult due to the young managers. Work-life balance is different in each office depending on the location of the offices.
Advice to Management
Some younger managers need to be open to other ideas. The younger managers need to be held more accountable for growing and training the newer staff.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ashland Partners (Medford, OR).
Initial phone interview with HR representative. General get to know you questions and common questions, like "what would you do in x situation."
Second interview was also a phone interview because I did not live in the area. Conference call with two managers.
