I have been working at Asian American Civic Association full-time
The company really lives up to their mission of promoting economic self sufficiency. The staff diversity makes for a very interesting view of how things can be done and input is always welcome. Management is in flux but the staff is more than capable so the works gets done with pride and integrity. Staff is dedicated to the agency's mission of Educate Empower and Employ!
The organization has out grown their space so work environment is crowded and it is difficult to schedule meeting space or to have a private conversation.
Advice to Management
Work on resolving the space issue and everything else will fall into place.
I applied online. I interviewed at Asian American Civic Association (Boston, MA).
I interviewed with two of the heads of the company there. I'm unsure of what kind of tactics were used here but in any case it was very unprofessional. With each portfolio piece I showed the interviewer she pretty much sneered at each one. It definitely sent red flags as to what kind of work environment it would be like.
