In 2001, our Founder and CEO, Jeff Freeland had the vision to create a company based on business flexibility with the highest quality and caliber of talent available in the market. Using his previous experience in the network hardware reseller and services space, Jeff set out to establish relationships with the best tech companies in the Silicon Valley. He and his team quickly realized the need for reliable quality resources focused on delivering key business outcomes for our clients, something that was very different than the market offered.
In 2007, Astreya established itself as a services-based provider focused on flexibility and velocity. The Astreya team became maniacally focused on driving out the hassles of traditional sourcing partners while being the easiest company to do business with, bar none.
Hello Planet Earth. Largely due to our abilities to provide talent across all major geographical locations, Astreya quickly grew its footprint globally and currently serves clients in over 32 countries.
Fast forward to 2014, we realized that our “business outcomes” model was becoming more and more directed toward providing continuous productivity – processes, teams, and metrics – for our large clients. Rob has focused his 30- year career on delivering exceptional professional services for leading global enterprises. Rob was formally Vice President in the Intel Security Group and general manager of the group’s worldwide Professional Services. Prior to that, he had served as Senior President of Worldwide Professional Services at McAfee, as well as Vice President of Worldwide Professional Service at Documentum.
Perry leads by keeping our customers and their needs front and center. His motto? “Earn trusted advisor status through transparency, integrity and responsiveness while minimizing self- interest, and everything else falls into place.” He’s passionate about helping client’s discover and address the day-to-day IT challenges that stand in the way of achieving business and operational goals. He also directs our recruiting organization to match clients with the right Astreya consultants, moving them into problem-solving mode faster. He employs the passion, creativity, and integrity Astreya is known for to lead organizations toward innovations in today’s new way of working.
Having served in top leadership positions in companies such as Genpact, ACS, Oracle and EDS, Perry brings extensive knowledge and experience in IT services to our customers. Perry Graduated Cum Laude from Computer Learning Center in Anaheim, CA and received his Bachelor of Science equivalence degree in combination with studying Chemical Engineering at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA. He is also a graduate of EDS’s Systems Engineering and Manufacturing Leadership Development programs.
Greg drives delivery and operational excellence for all of Astreya’s clients. Greg has led global teams in software deployments, outsourcing, systems integration, and consulting services. He has experience in business strategy development, business process re-engineering, e-commerce strategies, project planning, and management, as well as product, sales, and account leadership.
Shirley believes in helping companies focus on expanding revenue and efficiencies to increase income. Her leadership ensures that every dollar is accounted for and spent wisely, improving cash flow and margins to build capital so that we can provide the best value for our customers.
Shirley brings more than 25 years of financial and operational experience to Astreya. She has served as Vice President of Finance at EzRez Software, CFO and COO at Aircraft Technical Publishers, and Regional Controller at ADP. She also served as President of ExREI Consulting, which provides financial and operations consulting.
Kevin runs our recruiting team and is in charge of hiring hundreds of new Astreya people every year. Leading a team who can hire around the world in class leading times, Kevin focuses on driving innovation in the hiring process every day.
Kevin brings extensive client experience to Astreya having worked with brands such as ADP, IBM, BMW, Google, Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz. His international experience covers on the ground assignments in Australia, Barbados, China, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Kevin has an MBA from Trinity College Dublin and Bachelor of Business Studies degree from University College Dublin. He lives in Dublin, Ireland with his wife, Margaret and their 5 children.

I worked at Astreya Partners full-time (More than 3 years)
I worked for a client onsite through Astreya Partners for almost 5 yrs. I had a rocky start mainly because of the leaders that I was working under however when they hired the last program manager (DB) things got much better and I must say things got much better and I enjoyed my work very much so. The HR team is very nice and friendly and always available to help out with any issues. I had to leave Astreya because I was relocating. They also had great training plans through cbt nuggets which I thought was awesome. They always organized few fun/team building events every few months for the team which certainly was fun.
Need more new opportunities to advance in a role/to gather advance experience. Need more sick/PTOs. Proper training programs/strategy is much needed.
Advice to Management
When hiring new employees for any/(a) project I would strongly recommend hiring people from different companies instead hiring the whole lot from one company. By doing that you are basically brining in the same mindset/culture to the team. Hiring from different companies can bring in diverse experience, knowledge and different mindset to the team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Astreya Partners (New York, NY) in March 2016.
Very efficient and straight to the point, interviewer knew what what was expected from the applicant. No nonsense approach. the interview covered all bases of responsibilities as well as work schedule. groups that i would be working with along with information for each section.
