    Stable company. Payed every week.

Sure u can progress, so I've heard, u have to kiss the right butt and have connections and if ur like me and don't like to do that then your screwed. Seniority means nothing. No sick pay.

    Advice to Management

Be more understanding with the employees and their request to have certain days off we have families.

    Vice President Level Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in City of Industry, CA
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Athens Services (City of Industry, CA).

Phone screen interview, dinner with a peer level, face-to-face with a panel of peers and an owner family member. I pulled myself out of the running after realizing the owner was in his role because he was the child of one of the founders. He was completely over his head. He knew nothing about my area of expertise and had not bothered to become conversant. Also very unprofessional to interview me while wearing a sweatsuit and tennis shoes. This flip attitude sent the message that if you are one of the family you are not held to normal professional standards and your position is granted and not earned. Further, my future growth, whether earned or not, would be capped at the level below any family member regardless of their competence. The more familial generations entering the company the worse the problem would become. Here is an interview question I would ask: Why would I want to work here if you think so little of me that you wear lounge clothes to my interview and that you are so untouchable that you feel comfortable doing so? Never mind, I know the answer.
