I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Athletic Greens (United States) in Sep 2021

My interview process with the Athletic Greens team was very thoughtful. They were organized; no cancellations or reschedules. I could tell this group put significant effort into getting to know me, both professionally and personally. This is the first interview I have had where the Recruiter asked me to explain my dream job vs. talking about their opening and how my skills could benefit them.

The process was thorough ... a few more steps involved than I have experienced elsewhere... but it involved helpful meetings with relevant members of their team who I learned a lot from.

Considering how many people I met in the end, the process did move at a nice pace and the recruiters were communicative throughout. They kept me informed about next steps and checked in to see how I felt it was going.

There was a case study to complete as a final step, which did require some diligence to complete. However, the project provided great insight into what the role was all about. Presenting it to the hiring managers was engaging and insightful.

I truly was not looking for a new role when Athletic Greens reached out to me, but I couldn't help but feel that this culture was unique and hard to come by. Athletic Greens cares about finding a good fit for their needs, but also for your long term career goals.

It's worth going through the process if you're excited by the company, which I was.

What would be your strategy for communicating effectively within a 100% remote environment?
