I worked at Atlanta Medical Center full-time (More than 3 years)
Wellstar tries to do right by you as far as I can tell. Especially when it comes to family time and education.
The most common complaint of employees at Atlanta Medical Center is that the pay sucks. This is supposedly getting better with Wellstar, but it's been terrible for a long time now.
Advice to Management
Take better care of the people who work for you. If the people taking care of the patients are happier, the people who are being taken care of will be happier.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Atlanta Medical Center (Atlanta, GA) in July 2016.
I came to one of the open interview days with HR. They asked me what unit I was interested in and then called up to the floor for me to meet with the nurse manager of the unit. On the floor, they showed me around and the process was more of getting to know me than a formal interview. This was a Thursday. She let me know the next step was shadowing, which I did on Monday night. And I got the offer Friday morning.
