I have been working at Atlanta Medical Center part-time (More than a year)
Being an administrative assistant gives me the opportunity to work first hand with the managers and to show my skills. I'm responsible for daily accounts, scheduling, in house paper work, to make sure everything is running smoothly.
I have no complaints about my job.
Advice to Management
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Atlanta Medical Center (Atlanta, GA) in July 2016.
I came to one of the open interview days with HR. They asked me what unit I was interested in and then called up to the floor for me to meet with the nurse manager of the unit. On the floor, they showed me around and the process was more of getting to know me than a formal interview. This was a Thursday. She let me know the next step was shadowing, which I did on Monday night. And I got the offer Friday morning.
