Mission: To inspire customer delight worldwide.
Audi of America, Inc. was asked to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.
On Saturday, October 21, Audi of America sponsored the Forbes Idea Incubator, a one-day event designed to support science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education for collegiate women.
"Vorsprung durch Technik" or, "Progress through Technology" is our company ethos and is the core belief that drives the development of every Audi vehicle. It inspires the innovative solutions, revolutionary engineering and progressive design that have become synonymous with the Audi name. And it reminds us to challenge ourselves, rewrite the rules from time to time and always fuel our pioneering spirit. The spirit that sets us apart on the racetrack and the open road.
Audi is known for its exacting standards, relentless performance and uncompromising quality. Although you may associate those qualities with our brand, these characteristics also describe our employees. Everything we've accomplished and everything we've come to stand for has been a direct result of people who work here. If you can imagine yourself a part of our team, we invite you to learn more.
We could offer you an ordinary career; the trouble is we only deal in the extraordinary. At Audi we have a passion for delightful moments — whether that means delighting our customers each time they encounter our brand or delighting motor enthusiasts with our engineering prowess and leading-edge technologies. Each day we aim to delight our employees and dealer partners with a culture tightly focused on innovation and fundamentally sound business goals.
We pride ourselves on the smart, energetic, and enthusiastic people we have working at Audi. Our employees revel in thinking creatively and are encouraged to take initiative, solve problems and improve ways of working each day.
With offices in Virginia, Michigan and field offices across the nation, Audi offers a wide range of opportunities in many disciplines:
Audi of America, Inc. established the Audi Veterans to Technicians Program to meet the growing and predicted future dealership demand for talented and experienced technicians. The purpose of the Audi Veterans to Technicians Program is to attract skilled former military maintenance technicians to become brand-certified Audi Service Technicians, Service Consultants / Advisors, and Parts Specialists, which is expanding the pool of qualified personnel employed by authorized Audi dealerships.
Audi of America is pleased to welcome skilled Veterans into our organization and culture through the Audi Veterans to Technicians Program, one of several exciting initiatives designed to expand the quality, diversity and depth of the Audi dealership after sales workforce.
I have been working at Audi of America full-time (Less than a year)
Great people, great perks, good compensation
Location, rotating schedule, parking, corporate
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Audi of America (Herndon, VA) in October 2018.
The interview process was very lengthy and there was a substantial lack of follow up for the duration of the interviewing process. My original interview was on 10/17/2018, 2nd interview was on 11/9/2018 and I was unofficially notified 12/9/2018 that I wasn't selected. I sent a follow up email on 11/27 (three weeks after the 2nd interview) to ask for an update. I did not hear back until 12/3 stating that I would have follow up no later than 12/7. As of this time 12/10, I have yet to receive any official notification. I received an unofficial communication that was not selected.
