What's it like to work at Audley?
We know how to have fun when we are not working hard! Our open-plan Boston office is situated in the trendy North End district near to the Boston Garden and New England Aquarium. There are views over the river to Cambridge and the modern financial district and some great eateries nearby.
Our location promotes activity! From having our own on-site gym, subsidized spin classes to onsite yoga and circuit classes there is never a lack of things to get involved in. If ping-pong is more up your street then grab a paddle for a lunchtime game, or you can chill out by the TV on the sofas in our snug rooms.

-Often difficult to stay on top of the sheer amount of work you need to get done in a day to keep up
-Pay is reasonable but unremarkable, and achieving higher income levels requires disproportionately more work
-Basically the bare minimum possible amount of work space allocated per employee and a badly overcrowded office environment
-Very few non-white employees
-Management spends most of their time away from their desks in meetings
Advice to Management
I think the philosophy and core ideas are all excellent, and generally the implementation's on the right track, but there's still some room for improvement with the compensation and benefits. And the number of people you're trying to cram into the current offices is not sustainable - we don't have the desk space, the floor space, the meeting space, or even the bathrooms to support this number of employees.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Audley Travel (Boston, MA) in June 2015.
The interview process has changed since I was hired in 2015. It was a very intense interview given by three people and it lasted for a few hours. Country and travel knowledge are quizzed as well as sales experience.
