Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Great culture and people. More relaxed than other companies within the group, yet with great results.

They can end up a project just like that and you';; end up losing your job although you were having good results.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. I interviewed at Aurea Software (Canada) in Oct 2022

Terrible experience. No human contact - you just get an email from an automated system where you have to complete a bunch of tests. It made me do one of the tests twice and then immediate sent me a note saying I wasn't through to the next round. Unclear how me being able to do math without a calculator under a time constraint means I am good at my job as a marketer. Waste of my time.

Just a series of cognitive bias tests.
