Start up Pharma. Co. which appeared to be a great opportunity to grow with the company.
Excellent training program with small territory of Physicians, Dentists and Pharmacies to
contact. This was a straight commission position and afforded you great independence.
The market was serviced by established Reps. with competition ,causing some difficulty getting your Rx products prescribed. The primary share holder was a Lawyer, who resided in CA with no Pharma. experience, who decided to split territories to gain more market penetration.Many of the Auriga Reps. resigned shortly after this territory split , I stayed and tried to develop my one product with Dentists with some success but unfortunately Auriga Labs.went out of business shortly after my territory was eliminated
Advice to Management
The Pharma Business is very competitive and most companies offer a base income and expenses since it is very difficult to replace established competitors. Offer a firm Rep. contract
as long as the Rep. is meeting certain standards and compensation for any territory changes.
