    Tax Specialist (Escrow Department) Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Aurora Bank FSB (Santa Ana, CA).

    Interview

I was first interviewed by a supervisor for the Servicing Department at Lehman Brothers in Lake Forest, CA. This particular lady didn't hire me. A few weeks later I was called and asked to go to an employment agency Lehman was going through to hire people. I interviewed and got the job. I later found out that some of the management at Lehman were unhappy and leaving. There were new managers coming to Lehman. These managers were all from another company that had closed down. These people all stuck together. I soon found out that most of them were shady and dishonest. A lot of them ended up leaving or being fired.

    Interview Questions

    • I only interviewed with the employment agency and that was easy.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I was brought on as a temporary employee and told I would be hired permanently within a short time. Turned out to be 6 months of waiting. You can never trust what you are told. Especially when it's not in writing.
