I worked at Aurora Behavioral Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great experience in Behavioral Health, I worked directly with clients, and good experience for my education in Social Work at ASU.

    Cons

40 miles from my apartment. No raises. The scheduling department kept scheduling me for every day of the week.

    Advice to Management

Management were wonderful! My only advice would be to fix the scheduling issues. Other than that Aurora is a great place to learn about mental illness and behavioral health!

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Aurora Behavioral Health Care (Houston, TX) in March 2016.

    Interview

When I came, I had to wait for thirty to forty five minutes in the front lobby because they did not know that I was coming. I was questioned about my resume by the Human Resources person. Then, the nurse manager asks questions about my nursing experience. The Chief Nursing Officer was introduced to me.
