Mission: AST provides families with the information they need, the community they want and the quality services they deserve.
I have been working at Autism Spectrum Therapies full-time
Training is in depth; applied learning is on-going; multiple opportunities to try new skills; team effort and collaborating with others is key; not a one-size fits all regions mentality; transfer across regions is possible; research opportunities are available; trending with the times; keeping up with technology; partnerships with grad schools to support in sitting for BCaBA/BCBA; learning/centers and clinics available across some regions
Variable hour position; could potentially start low on the hours initially until the caseload is built up; this seems to be common across ABA agencies; one part of the commute (going to first client or heading home from last client) could be long.
Advice to Management
Keep allowing each region to grow/expand based on those specific regions needs! This has been awesome to see across all our regions! Keep up the flexibility.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Autism Spectrum Therapies (Santa Ana, CA) in March 2017.
The interview process was extremely easy. Phone screening interview and then a face to face in person interview with the clinical director. Overall great experience and easy. Everyone is very friendly
We are proud to be celebrating 15 years of serving the autism community!
