I worked at Avanquest Software (Less than a year)
Very good care for employees and set up of making sure new people have someone to go to for all questions. Good to be part of a team that stresses quality in their product and making sure the customer is happy. The product is very good quality and I received holiday cards from friends last year that were similar in concept but none were of the paper and printing quality as the ones we produced. The tech team was constantly working on upgrading speed and ease of use for the artists and order processors. All of the people I met who were senior to me were friendly, caring and usually asking if we were doing well or needed anything.
Ladies wear layers--it gets cold in there sometimes. Men didn't seem to have a problem with it.
Advice to Management
The thing that helped me the most was the attitude of continual training and growing the team. Even though most of us were there for only 1-3 months for the holiday season the environment made me want to do better, learn more and create very good products to send out to customers.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Avanquest Software in November 2016.
When you walk in a lady gets your resume and your forms, then she sends you to the computer to take 3 test, the test shouldn't determine if you get to have an interview after the test it's ridiculous and if shouldn't determine your hiring potential, so that's what happened to me after you finish the test you either get an interview or they tell you bye bye. One of the interviewing girls was very nice and pleasant she had red hair.
