Mission: Create value for our stakeholders by achieving operational excellence and integrating natural resources safely and efficiently into premium-quality products that enhance the quality of life.
I have been working at Axiall full-time (More than 3 years)
Above average pay and benefits for the area. Friendly and helpful staff from the hourly work force to the engineering level. Many oppurtunities to learn and gain experience.
Management is detrimental to the facility. More interested in managing people instead of production. Focus is on punitive measures instead of rewarding measures.
Advice to Management
Change in attitude starts at the top and filters through the workforce. Your arrogance and ignorance are damaging a great workforce.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Axiall.
Interviewers were very friendly. HR is helpful and Engineers are knowledgeable, everyone is happy to answer your questions. On campus interview was first. After that, I was invited on site for the second round interview. The site is a chemical plant, so it is not very visually appealing. The chemistry that goes on there is very interesting though. Seems like a great company to work for.
