Mission: Work Happy. Get Challenged. Be Rewarded.
Aya Healthcare is always looking for high-energy, career-minded people who have an internal drive to make a difference. If you're a workaholic and a play-aholic, you will fit in perfectly.
I have been working at Aya Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)
Very friendly environment. Food readily available for snacking. Great time off program and benefits package. Workout and do yoga with other coworkers. Training is very employee oriented and not rushed. Overall a very positive work environment.
Could use more natural lighting. Has a lot of computer systems and working with numbers so not for everyone. .
Advice to Management
Maybe the head of every department come and pop in to say hi at orientation
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Diego, CA).
Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn, messaged back and forth then set up a time for a phone screen.I thought the phone screen went really well and he even mentioned me starting the next week which was too soon for me but I just went with it. Ending the convo he said he'd call me back by noon with a time for me to come in the office later that day. Never heard from him again. Not a big deal since this wasn't really what I was looking for but so unprofessional on Aya's part. They can't be honest with you right then and there on the phone? Just a waste of my time. 4 days later I receive an email from him saying they have decided not to move forward but basically said otherwise on the phone days prior. This company is a joke and should probably teach their corporate recruiters how to be honest with potential candidates.
